IMA 2025 Christmas & New Year Party – A Night to Remember!

The IMA 2025 Christmas & New Year Party held on January 18th, 2025, at McGowan Hall, Indianapolis, was a spectacular celebration of joy, culture, and community spirit!

The evening was filled with vibrant cultural performances, live music, and exciting games that brought everyone together. Guests indulged in a delicious festive dinner, enjoyed heartwarming moments, and created unforgettable memories.

IMA and Indiana Malayalee families came together to celebrate the awaited Onam program 'Arpoo 2024' on Saturday, September 7th at Mt Vernon High School, 8112 N 200 W, Fortville, IN 46040

Onam is an annual harvest and cultural festival that is celebrated mostly by the people of Kerala. A major annual event for Keralites, it is the official festival of the state and includes a spectrum of cultural events. Onam Festival falls during the Malayali month of Chingam (Aug - Sep) and marks the homecoming of legendary King Mahabali. Carnival of Onam lasts for ten days and brings out the best of Kerala culture and tradition. Every year, our talented team of young kids and adults gather together to celebrate Onam with excitement, happiness, and fun cultural programs followed by yummy kerala feast.

Saturday 26 Aug 2023 - IMA Onakazhcha 2023

The annual Onam celebration of 2023 was celebrated on August 26th.

With close to 400 participants joining us for cultural programs, games and a delicious Onasadhya, IMA Onakazhcha 2023 was a grant success.

Saturday 29 April 2023 - Kerala Day Food Festival

The annual charity event organized by Indiana Malayalee Association with the aim to raise funds needed for medical treatment of needy people based in Kerala or India was a great success.

The event is organized to bring together people of all culture for a common cause while sharing love through unique delicacies from the state of Kerala. The turnout for 2023 was unprecedented with a record food sale and donation collection, thanks to our benefactors (you all)!

Food sold in the festival are made by enthusiasts from their home using quality ingredients with no aim to make profit !

Indiana Malayalee Association thanks all of you who contributed, participated and made donations to make this event a success. Let us continue to hold hands beyond language, social & cultural boundaries and unite for a good cause, while enjoying tasty food too!

7th January 2023 - Cheers to 2023

What a start of the year 2023!

With close to 250 members participating, 'Cheers to 2023' - the Christmas & New Year celebration organized by IMA was a grand success.

Beautiful & Cozy venue, Amazing musical performances and energetic dancing in the floor by Malluz ! This was the start of the year we all wanted!

We had a fun-filled and memorable 'PONNONAM 2022' on Sunday, September 18th. After two long years, Keralites in Indiana joined together once again to celebrate the spirit of Onam in all regalia.

CDC guidelines were followed at the event.

It was a day filled with fun - entertainment, games, yummy Ona sadya and much more...
